Our Thoughts On Virus:
We do our absolute best to eradicate any indication of disease from our farm. We use best practices, sanitizing tools, culling suspicious plants, and inspect every plant personally.
While we take great precautions to minimize disease, we also recognize that the American Dahlia Society believes that up to 87% of dahlia plants may be infected with at least 1 virus, even when they are asymptomatic. We strive to not contribute to the spread of virus by agreed best practices within the dahlia community.
Unfortunately, because of the overwhelming presence of disease and the ability for disease to spread quickly in ones own garden, we will not be able to offer refunds on symptomatic plants UNLESS our own stock is also symptomatic.
Our Policies:
Please make sure to inspect your dahlia tubers within 5 days upon receipt. We personally inspect each tuber and will not send out something without an eye or one that we wouldn’t grow ourselves. Should you believe your tuber is blind or damaged, please contact us within 5 days with photos and we will assess. If tuber is blind or damaged, we will replace, refund, or substitute for a comparable variety of your choice.
We do our absolute best to identify, label, and organize our tubers by variety. Should you receive a variety you did not purchase, please reach out to us and we will replace with correct variety or send you a substitution of your choice.
It should be noted that once you plant your tuber, we cannot be responsible for its success or failure. We suggest looking up your local Dahlia Society in your climate for the best tips and tricks on being successful with your dahlias.
We do not refund for “buyers remorse” purchases or circumstances outside the listed above exceptions.
We genuinely love growing dahlias and our heart is to share this beautiful gift with flower enthusiasts all over the country. We want everyone who purchases from us to experience the same joy we have. We always want our customers to be happy with our product, so if you have concerns outside of the ones listed above, please send us a message.
Shipping:
Orders are shipped via USPS. We currently only ship within the USA. Tubers will begin shipping mid-April OR when the temperature in your region is safe to receive them. You will receive an email confirmation after purchase, and an email notification once your package is on its way. For our $5 Dahlia Dash, packages will begin shipping May 13th, in order of receipt.
Should your package be damaged in transit or arrive without all the contents, please let us know. A claim will need to be filed with USPS and a refund submitted to you subsequently.
Shipping Cost:
Shipping Cost is $15 flat rate for each order. We understand that shipping is costly and we try our best to keep it manageable for our customers. If you would like to combine shipping, please send us an email via our Contact Form and we will combine your orders and refund the additional shipping manually. You will need to use the same shipping address and email in order for us to provide combined shipping for you.
